Sbout the project: Site to CCG foundation – Combined Cycle Gas, Parnaíba I – Unit I (Santo Antônio dos Lopes, Maranhão)

ATD Group was responsible for all internal logistics, from reception on the site until foundation, including maneuvers with SPMT, handling and lifting with gantry crane for turbines, generators, condenser parts. Our engineering department led all technical studies to complete the support activities for skidding and lifting in different levels.

Layout and requirements on construction demanded the skidding of turbines and generators (gas and steam), in 18 meters of length, using trails and gantry hydraulic resources. Gas Turbine and Gas Generator were lifted to 3 meters level from the floor by using one single gantry overhead crane for 500 ton of capacity. Steam Turbine and Steam Generator were lifted to 13 meters level from the floor, in a two stage operation, using two gantry overhead crane for 500 ton of capacity each one. Condenser parts were handled to let them over floor on last stage of operations.

All these activities were done according to schedule and requirements shared by Duro Felguera and also General Electric, main supplier of these equipments.
